By now, you should have had an initial consultation with one of our senior accountants. She will have given you a list of items we need to move forward with our services. In general, we need:

    A signed agreement with ACH authorization. Note that the agreement is not a long-term contract, you can cancel at any time.

    List of accounts we will be tracking for you.

    Guest or accountant access to your bank accounts, so we can see your transactions. No other permissions, please.

    Accountant access to QuickBooks Online. If you don’t currently have a QuickBooks or other online accounting software, we will be happy to set that up for you.

    Additional requirements discussed with your bookkeepers that pertain to the specific package you requested.

We will schedule your first quarterly consultation with you approximately 90 days after you get started. This is a great time to discuss business goals, budgets, expectations, and concerns.

If changes need to be made to your service, such as add/subtract bank accounts, trade lines, additional services, etc, we will send you a change form. If there is a price change, it will be clearly disclosed. We want clarity in communication, so we will err on the side of over-communicating.

You should expect to see your books updated at least weekly. We set a Monday deadline with our bookkeepers to ensure consistency. You should also see a Monday email with an update on what was done.
