Bookkeeping Made Simple was founded by Donna Harris, MBA, MAcc — with over a decade of experience helping small business owners get their finances under control. Our team holds two MBAs and a Master of Accounting.
We've cleaned up books that haven't been touched in years. We've untangled personal and business expenses that were hopelessly mixed. We've found missed deductions, duplicate payments, and errors that were costing clients thousands.
We don't judge the mess. We just fix it.

Q: How long does the cleanup take?

A: Most cleanups are delivered within 10 business days of receiving access to your accounts. Larger or more complex cleanups may take longer — we'll tell you upfront.

Q: What do you need from me?

A: Accountant access to your QuickBooks Online account, read-only access to your bank and credit card statements, and answers to a few questions about your business. We handle everything else.

Q: What if I don't use QuickBooks?

A: We work in QBO. If you're not currently using it, we can discuss migration as part of the engagement. A QBO subscription is not included in our fees.

Q: What happens after the cleanup?

A: Tax preparation is available to existing BMS bookkeeping clients. If you need both bookkeeping and tax prep, let's talk — it's a natural fit.

Q: Do you offer payment plans?

A: Payment is due in full before work begins. For Deep Cleanup engagements, we can discuss a 50% deposit structure.

Q: What if my books are really, really bad?
